Prince Harry faces accusation of deliberately destroying evidence in intense legal feud!

The trial will take place in January 2025

During the legal dispute between Prince Harry and News Group Newspapers (NGN), allegations have surfaced claiming that the Duke of Sussex intentionally erased or eliminated crucial evidence.

NGN is striving to obtain access to a range of communications, including emails, text messages, and WhatsApp conversations exchanged by Prince Harry.

Additionally, NGN has requested records of communication involving prominent figures such as Sir Clive Alderton, King Charles’s private secretary, and Sir Michael Stevens, the Keeper of the Privy Purse and treasurer to the King.

The autobiography of Prince Harry, Spare, was ghostwritten by JR Moehringer.
When the book was released in January 2023, it broke numerous records in the UK publishing industry.

NGN requests access to the correspondence between JR Moehringer and the youngest son of King Charles.

Harry’s agent, David Sherborne, said that although the duke and his writer exchanged messages on Signal, their chat history was erased prior to the book’s release.

According to Anthony Hudson KC of NGN, Harry purposefully destroyed evidence.
During the legal dispute between the Duke of Sussex and News Group Newspapers (NGN), Prince Harry has been charged with “deliberately destroying evidence”.

Harry, according to Hudson, had been “trying to create an obstacle course” to keep the publisher from getting hold of potentially relevant material.

He informed the court, “There should be proper evidence about this.” “Even though those communications have been removed, it is obvious that he has authority over them.

“For this reason, we believe it’s critical to look for texts and WhatsApp messages.

“We fear that this is just another instance of the claimant’s case being obscured. We find it astounding and remarkable that the claimant purposefully destroyed…
Judge Fancourt cut the lawyer off, saying, “Well, we’re not sure what went wrong. It’s really unclear.”

In response, Hudson said, “It is really concerning. It must be made clear as soon as possible.”

No documents that are “in the claimant’s control” are in the possession of Harbottle and Lewis, the Royal Family’s attorneys.

NGN is being sued by the Duke of Sussex and more than forty other parties for allegedly collecting information illegally and violating their privacy.

The trial is scheduled for January of 2025.
