The Call of Duty franchise, now under Microsoft’s wing, is making waves by launching on Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service—marking a first for the series! This exciting development means that players can dive into the action right from the start on October 25th, alongside its release on all other platforms.
Get ready, gamers! Activision’s highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to drop on Nvidia’s GeForce Now game streaming service this Friday, October 25th—simultaneously with its launch on all other platforms! This marks a groundbreaking moment as it’s the first time a Call of Duty title will be available on GeForce Now on day one, following Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023 and their deal to bring these games to Nvidia’s service.
For years, Call of Duty releases were locked into exclusive content deals with PlayStation. However, Microsoft has forged a new agreement with Sony to ensure future parity for the franchise. This compromise was essential for Microsoft to navigate regulatory approval during the Activision Blizzard buyout, which also included bringing titles from the Xbox PC library to Nvidia’s platform. Plus, there’s a promise that Call of Duty will be making its way to Nintendo consoles as well!Â
Nvidia users will also have access to Call of Duty HQ, a launcher featuring Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, available on Xbox and PC Game Pass. Here’s a sneak peek at the exciting new releases coming to GeForce Now:
- Worshippers of Cthulhu (Steam, October 21st)
- No More Room in Hell 2Â (Steam, October 22nd)
- Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven (Steam, October 24th)
- Windblown (Steam, October 24th)
