Grande Slammed! Singer’s “Dahmer Date” Dreams Leave Fans Shook & Victim’s Family Livid

To the surprise of many, the “Eternal Sunshine” singer recalled promised a teenage admirer she would have dinner with Dahmer.

The family of one of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims severely criticized Ariana Grande for her remarks that seemed to glorify him.

The “Yes, And?” singer discussed her love of real crime narratives on a June 17 episode of the podcast “Podcrushed.”

After admitting to being “infatuated with serial killers when I was younger,” Grande informed podcast hosts Sophie Ansari, Penn Badgley, and Nava Kavelin about an experience she had with a teenage admirer.

Someone said, “If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?'” The singer recounted. “It was in between me being Cat [referring to her role in the Nickelodeon TV show “Victorious”] and pop stuff, so it was like a younger group, and they were with parents.” “Well, Jeffrey Dahmer is really interesting.”

A 2022 Netflix documentary looked at Dahmer, who killed at least 17 young men, most of them were gay men of color. The video drew criticism for how it portrayed Dahmer and for encouraging an idolization of him.

“I believe that meeting him would have been wonderful. “I have inquiries,” the celebrity continued.

Tony Hughes’ mother, Shirley Hughes, attacked the singer for her remarks. Tony Hughes was a victim of Dahmer.

Hughes told TMZ, “To me, it seems like she’s sick in her mind.” Hughes’ son was brutally murdered in 1991. “Saying you would have loved to have supper with him is not pretentious or humorous. She claims to have spoken it to young people, which is another inappropriate thing to say.

Tony Hughes’ sister Barbara reportedly demanded an apology from the “Wicked” actor for the comments.
