The Match Review Officer has submitted their analysis from the game on Friday.
Two charges from Friday’s match between Carlton and Geelong have been handed down by the AFL’s Match Review Officer. Patrick Dangerfield, star player for the Cats, has been charged with rough conduct.
In the first term of the Round 15 match, the Geelong skipper was penalized for making a reckless tackle on Blues midfielder Sam Walsh.
With a grade of “careless conduct,” “high contact,” and “medium impact” from the MRO, Dangerfield will miss one game as a result of his actions.
Dangerfield will be out of the Essendon match on Saturday due to the penalty.
