Westlake High School’s standout wide receiver Travis Smith, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, has made his collegiate decision by committing to the Tennessee Volunteers. This commitment comes after strong interest from other top programs such as Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia. Tennessee’s persistence paid off as they secured Smith’s commitment, marking a significant addition to their upcoming recruiting class.

As of the On3 Industry Rankings, Smith is placed at No. 81 in the 2025 class. Notably, he compiled impressive statistics during his junior season, amassing 34 receptions for 587 yards and eight touchdowns while facing formidable competition. Smith’s commitment marks the third wide receiver pledge for Tennessee, alongside commitments from Joakim Dodson of Baylor School and Radarious Jackson of Sheffield High School.

Smith becomes the seventeenth addition to the 2025 recruiting class for the Volunteers.
