The PGA Championship rescheduled the third round’s tee timings due to fog, which caused the original start time to be delayed.
The 2024 PGA Championship saw yet another delay on Saturday morning at Valhalla. The second round was delayed when fog moved in and lingered for the majority of the morning.
The PGA Championship’s third round officially started at 11:28 a.m.
At a big competition, normally there would be two-person groups for the weekend, but not this week.
In an attempt to complete the third round on Saturday, the PGA of America will feature men playing in threesomes on both sides of the course.
On Moving Day, there are a lot of powerful PGA Tour players to watch. Players who are closer to the top of the leaderboard will start on hole one, and those who are farther down the leaderboard will start on hole 10.
On the tenth hole, Dustin Johnson, Corey Conners, and Tommy Fleetwood will take the field at 1:45 p.m. ET. At 11:28 a.m. on the first hole, Cam Smith, Max Homa, and Jordan Spieth were the first to tee off. At 12:01 p.m. ET, Jason Day, Justin Rose, and Shane Lowry will begin play on hole 1.
