In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Maurizio Sarri expressed his desire to coach the Argentine club Boca Juniors someday.
The 65-year-old coach, who resigned from Lazio last March, is currently without a team. He shared his aspirations in the interview, stating, “Coaching Boca Juniors would be an incredible dream, but I’m not sure if it will be possible. Experiencing games at the Bombonera would be something truly special.
“Throughout the interview, Sarri also addressed various other topics, including which Italian players he would like to coach and his expected timeline for returning to management.
Sarri, who has previously managed Empoli, Napoli, and Juventus in Serie A, was the last Bianconeri coach to win the Scudetto during the 2019-20 season and also claimed the Europa League title with Chelsea the prior year.
