UCF Knights Start Season with a Bang
The UCF Knights have kicked off their season in impressive fashion, crushing the New Hampshire Wildcats with a commanding 57-3 victory on Thursday at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
This performance establishes the Knights as a team to keep an eye on in the Big 12 this season. They showcased their complete arsenal of offensive and defensive skills, leading to an impressive 54-point win on opening night.

KJ Jefferson – 4.5 Stars
Jefferson, who became a legendary figure in Arkansas after his five seasons with the Razorbacks, has certainly met expectations. He threw 7 of 14 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns, earning cheers and accolades from over 44,000 fans in the stadium.

After finishing with a 3-6 record (6-7 overall) in their first year in the Big 12, the UCF Knights are looking to raise the stakes this season. The team aims to contend with top conference rivals like Utah, Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, and Baylor for the Big 12 championship and possibly secure a spot in the College Football Playoffs.
RJ Harvey – 4 Stars
Running back RJ Harvey stole the show on Thursday, rushing for 142 yards on 11 carries and scoring two touchdowns. The Knights’ top running back wowed the crowd with his agile moves and long runs, including a 60-yard dash that set him up for a one-yard TD on the next play, putting the Knights ahead 22-0. Harvey is anticipated to lead a formidable running back group that includes Penny Boone and Myles Montgomery.

Kobe Hudson – 4 Stars
Following Javon Baker’s move to the New England Patriots, Kobe Hudson has stepped up as Jefferson’s primary downfield target. In the game against New Hampshire, Hudson showcased his skills with two catches totaling 61 yards.
