Elite Four-Star Defensive Backer Chosen for Prestigious 2025 Polynesian Bowl!

On Thursday, it was announced that Tae Harris, a highly regarded four-star safety from Cedartown, Georgia, has been chosen to participate in the esteemed 2025 Polynesian Bowl.

Tae Harris, a four-star safety from Cedartown, Georgia, was chosen to participate in the 2025 Polynesian Bowl, the school said on Thursday.

Harris was ecstatic by the choice.

Harris remarked, “To me, it means everything.” “To be in this position is a great blessing for me. I would be nothing without God. I also get to demonstrate to the entire nation why I’m the greatest safety in the nation.”

Two years ago, Harris saw the Polynesian Bowl for the first time.

“I watched it two years ago when they had guys like Travis Hunter and Zachariah Branch,” stated Harris.

That’s the reason Harris is ecstatic to participate in the game.

“This is very big to me and shows my hard work is paying off,” Harris added. “I work everyday and I don’t worry about anything but getting better.”

He is eager to visit Hawaii for the upcoming week.

“It’s pretty exciting and I can’t wait to get down there and play football and experience a new culture,” Harris said.

In March, Harris declared his intention to attend Clemson.

“Coach (Mickey) Conn and coach (Dabo) Swinney and coach (Mike) Reed showed me I was who they wanted,” Harris said. It truly caught my attention. There, the family is large and I have ties to everyone. Every day, Coach Conn is fostering that bond with me. It’s really a godsend that he’s telling me, saying, “If I can get you and KB (Khalil Barnes) in the same secondary, we will be unstoppable.”

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Harris is a four-star recruit who ranks as the No. 9 prospect in Georgia for the 2025 class. He is also ranked as the No. 42 overall player in the nation and the No. 3 safety nationwide.
