The long-awaited reunion between Boruto and Himawari was eventually achieved in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 11.
Everyone, even his cherished sister, had forgotten about the titular protagonist when Boruto Two Blue Vortex began, which was a tragic start. And even three years later, when he came back to Konoha, she forgot about him, believing him to be her parents’ killer.
In addition, the Shinju entering Konoha had both siblings’ hands full. While Boruto wanted to keep the village safe, things weren’t quite that simple for Himawari. Jura was after her, hoping to gain access to her Bijuu powers by consuming her.
Fans have been waiting for Boruto to intervene and save Himawari ever since Jura revealed his plans for her. It’s no secret that he loves his sister dearly, and he is the only one who can currently defeat the Shinju.

In Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 11, this goal was ultimately fulfilled. Himawari employed her most powerful technique and revealed her Bijuu form in this episode. She nearly lost her life as a result of her inability to keep up with Jura.
However, Boruto materialized quickly to pull her free from Jura’s hold. After three years apart, the Uzumaki siblings are getting back together for the first time, and fans agree that it’s a wonderful occasion. Even yet, there isn’t much time for the two to catch up because Boruto races to Sarada’s aid in order to save the Uchiha from Hidari.
Readers, meanwhile, are thrilled to see the Uzumaki siblings reunited. “Boruto saves Himawari,” tweeted one X user in appreciation of Boruto rescuing his sister. For this reason, he is the GOAT.
“And the best big brother award goes to… Boruto!” wrote a third, while another commented on the panel showing Boruto cradling Himawari and asked, “Why is he carrying her like that, cute?”
Since their conversation ended in Chapter 11, we can expect a formal (and tearful) reunion moment in Chapter 12. However, we’ll have to wait because the following chapter won’t be out until July 20, one month later.
