Halsey’s admirers have shown their support for her after she posted on social media, stating, “I’m lucky to be alive.”
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the “Without Me” actress—who goes by she/they—updated her followers, writing, “Long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive.” I wrote an album, long story. The End marks the start of it. out right now.
A sequence of brief video snippets accompanied the message, the first of which saw Halsey sitting and repeatedly massaging their legs.
“Like an old lady, really, really,” the 29-year-old remarked in the video. “I’m going to give myself two more years to be sick, I told myself.”
“I’m having a rebirth at thirty. I won’t get sick, I’ll look amazing, I’ll have loads of energy, and I get to relive my 20s in my 30s.”
“Halsey is the voice for so many chronically ill people,” one user said. She’s my hero for even more reasons—I want to fulfill my dream and I have something to live for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to hear this tale. I adore you a great deal.
“I love you  chronic illness is hell but you’re incredible,” commented another.
Halsey mentioned the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance without going into detail about their ailment.
In a another video, Halsey could be seen wearing a mask, saying “treatment day one,” and connected up to some sort of infusion. They were seen crying, donning a hijab, and doing drugs in other pictures.
The singer disclosed two years ago that she was diagnosed with various conditions after giving birth to their child, Ender, in July 2021. She declared in a string of videos that she was allergic to practically everything at the time.
Halsey disclosed in 2019 that she had bipolar disorder, for which she received a diagnosis at the age of 17.
